We founded occupaid to solve two problems for property owners.
- Most people can list a property on Airbnb, but very few have the time to learn / implement the latest technologies and systems to truly maximise revenue year-round.
- Long-term landlords are being squeezed by changing tenant laws / rising taxes, and could earn significantly more by switching to short-term lets — if they had someone to handle the extra work and complexity.
Between us we bring over 20 years of hands-on experience in tech, marketing, and hospitality — including marketing and OTA management for 4-star hotels, hostels, and short-term rental portfolios totaling over 200 rooms.
We've lived the guest side extensively through 5+ years of working remotely in STRs worldwide, and we've run the operator side at scale.
